According to the IGI, Richard is the son of Thomas Goodworth and Elizabeth, christened  1799 in St James, Westminster, London. It seems likely that his parents are Thomas Goodworth and Elizabeth Read who married by licence in St Martin in the Fields in 1798 (he a bachelor, she a spinster. This couple have one other christening listed in the IGI, namely Anne Mary Goodworth who dies in 1873 in London.
No obvious bmd death record - perhaps I have got bmd d. Sep 1859 Thorne 9c 291 one year out?

In 1851 the household includes John, bro-in-law of Richard (i.e. probably a ROWBOTTOM), aged 41, farmer of 8 acres.
